Rules of the tournament U12 Players born after 01//01//1997 1. The teams will be divided by drawing into 8 groups of 4 teams. Qualification games a) Each team shall play against the three other teams of its group. b) The duration of the games is 2 x 12,5 minutes. Teams will immediately change sides at halve-time. c) After each qualification game, the following points will be attributed: d) In case two teams end ex-aequo in the final table of the qualifying round, they will be classified taking into account: 2nd Phase 1st Round 1.1 First 16 teams (1st & 2nd of each 8 groups) will play a 2 x 12,5 minutes match, (1st of one group against 2nd of another group – order of the games will depend on previous round results). 1.2 Teams who finished 3rd will play a 2 x 12,5’ match as follows: Group A against Group E; Group B against Group F; Group C against Group G and Group D against Group H. 1.3 The same applies to teams who finish 4th. In the event of a draw a series of 3 penalty kicks will be taken. If the score remains even hereafter, the « sudden death » rule will be applied. 2nd Phase 2nd Round 2.1 First 16 teams: 8 winners of first round will play a 2 x 12,5’ (order of games will depend on previous round order). 2.2 The same applies to the 8 losers of the previous round. 2.3 Winners in Section 1.2 will play a 2 x 12,5’ match as follows: Groups A-E against Group B-F, Groups C-G against Group D-H (place 17 to 20). 2.4 The same applies for losers in section 1.2 (places 21 to 24). 2.5 The same as in 2.3 applies to the winners of section 1.3 (places 25 to 28). 2.6 The same as in 2.4 applies to losers in 1.3 (places 29 to 32). In the event of a draw a series of 3 penalty kicks will be taken. If the score remains even hereafter, the "sudden death" rule will be applied. 2nd Phase 3rd Round – Semi finals 3.1 4 winners in 2.1 (places 1 to 4) 3.2 4 losers in 2.1 (places 5 to 8) 3.3 4 winners in 2.2 (places 9 to 12) 3.4 4 losers in 2.2 (places 13 to 16) In the event of a draw a series of 3 penalty kicks will be taken. If the score remains even hereafter, the "sudden death" rule will be applied. 2nd Phase Finals First sixteen teams will play a 2 x 12’5 match. Last sixteen teams will play a 2 x 12,5’ match. In the event of a draw a series of 3 penalty kicks will be taken. If the score remains even hereafter, the «sudden death » rule will be applied. The final will be playing in 2 x 20’. All cases not seen to in the present rules shall be settled by the tournament manager. There is no appeal from his decision. |
